Students and employees of Leiden University may upload videos on Kaltura. Only upload videos that you made or that you are authorized to use. You must own the copyright to your video or hold permissions from the copyright holders. If you believe your copyright-protected work was posted on Kaltura without authorization, you can send an e-mail message to: [email protected] or flag the video in question. Leiden University expressly disclaims all liability for damages in any way resulting from or in connection with the use of videos on Kaltura.

As of Monday 22 March 2021, 07:30h all staff members, including instructors, student-assistants, support staff, and guest lecturers will need to log into Brightspace with a second authentication method. Please follow the instructions on the screen while logging in.

Please note: This is a new authentication method and it is different from the current method used for Microsoft applications like MS Teams. We strongly advise you to set your preferences now in account services, so you do not experience any login issues on Monday.

Good to know:

Multi factor authentication in Brightspace is required for all staff and guests. For students nothing changes. A username and password remains sufficient for them.
