This video series gives an introduction to ‘The Art of Reading in the Middle Ages’ project (2020-2022), which explores how medieval reading culture evolved and became a fundamental aspect of European culture. In this video we show you how to browse for medieval manuscripts in Europeana and share some tips and tricks for searching medieval manuscripts in more detail.

The video is created by Leiden University Libraries (one of the ARMA partners) for ‘The Art of Reading in the Middle Ages’ project. The project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union.
