Metadata is a structured form of documentation that will make your data findable and intelligible for other people. Most researchers will have their documentation adhere to standardized procedures common in their field of research, even if they do not use the word ‘metadata’.
Our Centre for Digital Scholarship Data Management Team created nine videos to highlight important topics that could help Leiden University researchers manage FAIR Data. The short instructional videos were made in particular for those researchers preparing to write a Data Management Plan.
