Science Communication & Society

We study and teach science communication. Our master’s specialisation enables students to bring together their field of science and society, it can be combined with any master from the entire science faculty and biomedical sciences. Our courses train students in practical and theoretical aspects of science communications. Internships help our students decide whether they want to choose a career in science communication. Our research program is aimed at improving science communication with as central themes ‘Authenticity in informal learning’ and ‘Bridging the gap between experts and the general public’.
